Open64 Steering Group

Because of high interest, the OSG has decided to create an extended group, the Open64 Program Committee. Members of this committee will be included in all communications and activities of the steering committee. The goal was to maintain efficiency by limiting the OSG membership while making it easier for interested parties to participate. Interested? Please send requests with our mailform.

The Open64 development effort uses an open development environment
in order to foster a world-class optimizing compiler, to attract a
larger team of developers, to ensure that Open64 works on multiple
(supported) architectures and diverse environments, and to more
thoroughly test and extend the features of Open64. 

The primary purpose of the steering committee is to make major
decisions in the best interests of the Open64 project and to ensure
that the project adheres to its fundamental principles found in the
project's mission statement.
